$1,500 Signing/Retention Bonus!*

CDL Coach Operator 

Pay: $20.80 per hour

(sixteen dollars per hour during training period)

Job Type: Full-time 

Location: Perris, CA

Shift & Schedule: All Shifts

Must Have: CDL, 2 Years Drivers License

  • Valid California Class A, B, or commercial driver’s license with Passenger endorsements
  • Valid Verification of Transit Training (VTT) Card
  • Good driving record as verified by a K-4 DMV printout

Propark Mobility is currently hiring Coach Operators for full-time opportunities to start immediately. 

Basic Function:

  • Operates public transit buses, uses electronic fare collection, transports passengers, and performs safety inspection of bus equipment.

Knowledge:

  • State and local traffic laws, ordinances, and regulations involved in the operation of vehicles
  • Vehicle safety rules and regulations
  • Basic money and time concepts

  • Understand and follow detailed oral and written instructions
  • Communicate courteously and effectively with other employees and the public
  • Decipher and successfully encounter traffic patterns flows and potential road hazards
  • Recognize existing or potential mechanical defects, problems, or maladjustments
  • Push, pull and lift up to 35 pounds
  • Bend with both knees and back, squat and/or kneel when securing a wheelchair
  • Quickly and accurately count money at a glance

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be subjected to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes and airborne particles. The noise level in this work environment can range from minimal to moderate.

"THE FINE PRINT:

*Sign-On/Retention Bonus• Terms and conditions apply.• Bonus will be paid in three (3) payments: $500 paid after 60 days; $500 paid after 90 days; $500 paid after 120 days of service• Bonus opportunity ends 06/30/2024.• Must be employed full time and working full time to receive each installment.

• Must have a VTT Commercial License with a Passenger Endorsemnt on hire in order to recieve bonus.• Applies to all new, full-time employees hired at this location between to April 1st, 2024 - June 30th, 2024.
