International equipment manufacturing subsidiary (for industrial minerals processing and cement grinding applications) is seeking a Sales Engineer to promote Spare Parts Sales in the Americas.
Requirements :
- B.S. Degree, or higher in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Industrial.
- Experience specific to the Cement or mineral industries is a plus.
- Availability to travel minimum 30%.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and parts lists.
- Legally authorized to work in the US and have a valid passport for international travel.
Operational tasks :
- Obtaining information about the sales market.
- Developing sales strategies.
- Regular customer visits.
- Providing advice to customers so they can understand the benefits of our products.
- Understanding the installed base of machines and generating new sales and service opportunities.
Skills :
- Ability to understand mechanical engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Familiar with MS Project and Visio.
- Knowledge of ERP programs. ENAIO and proAlpha are a plus.
- Detail-oriented.
- Strong ability to work in a small team environment.
- Good at multi-tasking .
- Excellent communication and grammar skills and proficiency in English. Spanish language is a plus.
