At Cano Health, we are looking for a Referral Coordinator candidate that will coordinate all external and internal services and will be responsible for scheduling consultations, diagnostic testing, and surgical procedures. The ideal candidate inputs referrals and authorizations into a data bank and coordinates follow-up care with the referral physicians as approved. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Experience & Skills
· High school diploma or GED.
· Previous experience in a physician’s office, clinic, or hospital processing referrals.
· Proficient with Medical Terminology.
· Knowledge of ICD 10 or CPT Coding.
· Experience working with eCW preferably.
· Medicaid and Medicare knowledge
