Hoshizaki America, Inc. is Hiring an Electrical Engineer Near Peachtree, GA

Job Description SUMMARY Under direct supervision, responsible for a range of engineering activities in electrical engineering, modifies and evaluates components and processes used in the electricity, electrical components, and software related items. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.
Essential Functions
  • Develop the design of a variety of electrical products, processes, components, or equipment.
  • Tests, implements and modifies electronic components, products and systems in a production setting.
  • Creates Drawings and Specifications and build prototypes.
  • Analog and digital electronic circuit design, analysis, simulation, and test
  • Perform tests on electrical components and design and document new test standards and procedures for components.
  • Suggest alternative approaches and solutions to overall system designs and analytical problems.
  • Prepares reports, charts, graphs, and other documents, makes recommendations, and suggests solutions to senior staff.
  • Communicates and documents through Technical Reports and 4D Reports on a routine basis both the short- and long-term progress and any issues or problems which may have been encountered.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Altium CAD and Creo.
  • Experience with multiple microcontroller architectures [Atmel AVR/SAM, Renesas, PIC, ESP32, STM32].
  • Knowledge of test equipment and measurement instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with design for test and design for manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with feedback control systems.
  • Familiarity with refrigeration systems or excellent grade in Thermo 101 (excellent grade in 102 a plus).
Knowledge & Skills
  • Applies knowledge of engineering or scientific principles to accomplish a wide variety of technical assignments within company technical staff activities.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electronic systems, software and components.
  • Experience testing and evaluating basic and complex electronic systems and the ability to develop and execute a test plan.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills .
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to read technical specifications, blueprints, and drawings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Embedded Systems, Hardware Design, Firmware Development, Team Player, Quality Control, Altium, Microcontrollers.
