Pond is Hiring a Project Manager Near Peachtree, GA

About The PositionWe are seeking a highly-motivated individual to serve as a Project Manager in our Peachtree Corners, GA office. In this role you will lead the management and delivery of a diverse portfolio of transportation related projects. The appropriately qualified candidate will be able to demonstrate previous success in the pursuit and delivery of roadway and traffic/ITS design projects, proven leadership skills, and a strong work ethic. This position has great growth potential to further develop your skills as a leader of people and projects. This position will work with our experienced senior leadership to coordinate and direct design and production efforts on projects, as well as future project pursuits.
About Our TeamOur transportation team is engaged in projects throughout the southeast, and our existing client base includes state transportation agencies such as the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), as well as various county and local municipalities. The successful candidate would be an integral part of our growing team and would have the opportunity to engage across markets and geographies.
Qualifications
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering
  • 5-7 years of transportation/traffic/ITS design experience is preferred.
  • Professional Engineer, P.E. certification is required
  • Thorough knowledge of GDOT design criteria, standards, and the GDOT Plan Development process (PDP)
  • Working knowledge with roadway design software packages such as MicroStation, InRoads, and OpenRoads Designer (optional)
  • Excellent technical skills to serve as a mentor and reviewer of intersection improvement, pedestrian safety (RRFB, PHB, etc.), traffic signal, and ITS/signal communications designs projects
  • Ability to coordinate multiple unique assignments simultaneously, ability to delegate and manage assigned work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively convey information to technical and non-technical individuals. Engage in and support internal Quality Control and Quality Assurance Program

Additional InformationMany factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Project Manager with a salary range of $100,800.00 - $186,800.00 .
