GAT Airline Ground Support is Hiring a Senior Accountant Near Peachtree, GA
What We’ll Trust You WithYou will support proper accounting for your assigned general ledger accounts and ensure timely and accurate recording of activity. You will help to set the standard and continually reinforce integrity for our customers and our employees. Working autonomously, you will also:
- Support the review and analysis of general ledger transactions and account reconciliations to ensure proper classification, accuracy and completeness
- Assist with maintenance and control of the general ledger
- Assist in preparation of monthly revenue recognition entries
- Plan and review internal management reporting packages
- Organize month-end financial consolidations including intercompany elimination
- Participate in monthly financial reviews with the Operations team to identify opportunities to drive increased financial performance
- Identify and create new internal financial reports to support the needs of key stakeholders across various business units
- Assist with external audit by analyzing and reconciling general ledger accounts; providing information for auditors.
- Work independently and contribute to business-related activities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related accounting experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to pass background checks and pre-employment drug screening
