Distributor with multi-site locations is looking to add to staff due to recent growth! As Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in leading corporate accounting while fostering team growth. Your responsibilities include executing efficient month-end and year-end closes, overseeing internal controls and compliance reporting, and managing inventory and fixed assets. Collaborating closely with the leadership team, you'll contribute to budgeting, external audits, and special projects. Leading the AR, AP, and accounting teams, you'll ensure compliance and quality reporting, while driving continuous process improvement. Additionally, you'll establish accounting policies and procedures to meet future business needs and manage commission calculations, tax filings, and cash flow forecasting. Your dedication to fostering teamwork and delivering exceptional customer service will be essential as you provide regular reporting and analysis to drive informed decision-making.

Ideal candidate with have the following:

• CPA/CMA preferred
• Bachelor’s in Accounting/ Finance. Public Accounting experience a plus
• 10 years working knowledge in accounting, finance, inventory, cash, and systems
• Must have experience with multi-locations, understand gross margins, COGS, inventory, etc.
• Distribution industry experience
• Any international experience preferred
