About the job:
Rand Enterprises Inc. is looking for an experienced and well-organized Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) to join our team at Patuxent River, MD.

The Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the safety of employees, subcontractors and customers on construction projects.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Qualifications & Experience:
· 5 years of continuous experience in construction safety and health in supervising / managing general construction.
· 30 Hour OSHA Construction certification.
· Current 1st aid/CPR Certificate
· Be able to pass background check and get a Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) base access pass.
· Excellent listening skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Active participant in a team environment.
· Government project experience highly preferred.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Search is currently focused on eligible candidates residing within normal commuting distance to Patuxent River Naval Air Station.
