Machine Operator
The Machine Operator is responsible for programming the applicablenumbers provided, loading, and operating the machine as well as changing themachine over to run the appropriate material type.
Basic preventativemaintenance is also required to ensure equipment is running optimally. Machine Operatorssetup fitments of components provided by fabrication according tospecifications, ensuring all design requests and tolerances are met whilereferencing blueprints and drawings provided.
Ensuring all components matchspecified dimensions provided on fabrication cutsheets and 1 : 1 drawings.

Key Tasks
- Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
- Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments.
- Safely and proficiently operate tools and equipment needed to fabricate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhereto safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
- Follow direction, procedures, and instructions for all work assignments.
- Operate / monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.
- Ability to read and interpret computer aided design (CAD) drawings and 1 : 1 blueprints.
- Maintain clean and safe work area and machine conditioning.
- Work as a team and maintain professionalism at all levels in the organization.
- Support all quality, safety, and environmental programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
