Job Description: Route Driver

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Route Driver to join our team. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering laundry and linens from various customer locations to our laundromat facility. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a commitment to providing exceptional service along with a good driving record.

**Responsibilities:**
- Efficiently navigate assigned routes to collect and deliver laundry and linens from residential and commercial customers.
- Load and unload laundry bins, bags, and carts onto the delivery vehicle with care and attention to prevent damage.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any questions or concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of pick-up and delivery times, quantities, and any special instructions provided by customers.
- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while driving and operating the delivery vehicle.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, including fueling, checking fluid levels, and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized, both internally and externally.
- Assist in loading and unloading laundry machines at the laundromat.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing the company positively to customers and the public.

**Qualifications:**
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing exceptional service.

**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to lift and carry loads weighing up to 50 pounds.

- Ability to constantly walk up and down stairs while carrying laundry bags.

- Ability to load, unload and move laundry bags weighing 50 pounds multiple times a day.
- Physical agility to bend, kneel, stand, and lift repeatedly during the workday.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.

**Work Schedule:**
3 days a week 8am-3pm, nights OR weekends as needed during peek season
