ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Other duties as assigned.
- Coordinate and execute trade shows and field events, including customer events, alongside the sales team to generate leads and promote the company, products, and services.
- Work collaboratively with the Experiential Team to understand event goals and objectives, and to provide oversight and support for all events.
- Assist with event scheduling for internal resources, including calendar management, and coordinate the invitation and registration process where applicable.
- Develop a project plan, including a contingency plan, for each event.
- Manage vendor relationships from contract stage through event completion.
- Support sales teams and other VEGA employees on a day-to-day basis with marketing and training requests or needs
- Provide Inside Sales team with post-event leads for documenting in TopVis CRM
- Participate in event planning functions for internal events.
- Take photos, videos, and/or audio of events and user testimonials for use in marketing collateral and social media.
- Assist with the organization of local training sessions, including hospitality management and promotional items.
- Communicate opportunities for improvement to management as well as active participation on business development teams
- Available to travel up to 50%
- Manage local promotional item stock, including, inventory and distribution of items at events and for internal purposes.
- Manage inventory and distribution of regional training equipment and materials, coordinating logistics with shipping, training, and sales departments
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent from a four-year college or university;
- OR one year related experience;
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience
