Title-Desktop Support technician
Location - Pasadena, CA (Onsite)
Shift Timings - 8-5pm Local but w/ mandatory schedules on these listed days
6/21 - 1 PM- 10 PM
6/22 - 8 AM - 6 PM
6/28 - 1 PM- 10 PM
6/29 - 8 AM - 6 PM
Day to Day Job Duties:
End user support-Desktop Support-Windows operating system-Local and Network Installation, Internet explorer, TCP/IP, DHCP, Device Manager, Registry editor, User Manager, Admin Commands
Installing and configuring hardware and software. Speaking to customers to quickly get to the root of their problem.
Providing timely and accurate customer feedback.
Talking customers through a series of actions to resolve a problem.
Following up with clients to ensure the problem is resolved.
Basic Qualifications:
Prior experience in tech support, desktop support, or a similar role.
Proficient Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Good written and verbal communication in Windows/Linux/Mac OS.
Nice to Have:
Certification in Microsoft, Linux, or Cisco is advantageous.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Experience:
- Windows: 4 years (Required)
- Desktop support: 4 years (Required)
- TCP/IP: 3 years (Required)
- DHCP: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Certification in Microsoft (Required)
- CompTIA Linux (Preferred)
