Our Global Fortune client is looking to bring in a successful Senior Accountant who is an expert in SAP. The Senior Accountant will lead independently all the preparation of the financial statements of the company's subsidiaries. This role ensures these statements are prepared in accordance with the applicable reporting principles such as IFRS and the company's policies and procedures. In addition, this role provides stakeholders with a true and fair view of the assets, liabilities, financial position, profit of the company and manage the Intercompany, Accounts Receivable and Cost of Retail.

Key Responsibilities in this role:

Cross-functional teams and provide strategic guidance on financial transactions and accounting processes while liaising with the central and external SAP S4/Hana rollout team.

Manage complex processes and systems to support the Accounting Operations and the

Financial Analysis and Accounting Services teams with completing financial reporting deadlines in cost of retail, inventory, warranty, intercompany and accounts receivable and monitor the financial statements to ensure they are in compliance with Accounting Guidelines and IFRS as a subject matter expert with the ability to understand both SAP S4/Hana and accounting related business issues.

Support external resources/partners through all phases of project development.

Own the documentation of processes and knowledge gathering to facilitate requests and needs stemming from senior management initiatives.

Drive the documentation of the Fit-Gap analyst and monitor current infrastructure to ensure proper functionality that financial reporting activities are processed in most effective and efficient way utilizing IFT and JRP

That internal accounting controls related to accounting processes are in place and effective.

Conduct technical accounting research and guidance as it pertains to current and upcoming IFRS topics and eGAAP

Handle the annual audit and mid-year and interim review of the financial statements and footnotes by their Independent Certified Public Accounting Firm

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 7 years of experience in accounting/finance
• Expert in SAP, prefer version S4/Hana, but will look at other versions, if part of an implementation that is a plus
• 5 years of advanced SAP experience in GL, A/R, Intercompany, and consolidation modules knowledge of general accounting topics on both the income statement and balance sheet areas in Microsoft office tools
