Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Product Management to lead our product strategy and development. This is a unique opportunity to join an early-stage startup at the ground floor and play a crucial role in defining and executing our product roadmap. If you are passionate about product management, thrive in startup environments, and have a proven track record of taking products from concept to launch, we want to hear from you. Please note that this is an equity-only role, until we raise a significant round of funding.
Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and market needs.
- Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market research, and business objectives.
- User-Centered Design: Advocate for the user by ensuring that all product decisions are based on a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product strategy.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, and through subsequent iterations and improvements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for product-related matters, effectively communicating product status, timelines, and changes to stakeholders.
- Metrics and KPIs: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform decision-making.
- Innovation and Experimentation: Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation, encouraging the team to explore new ideas and approaches.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in product management in Martech or Salestech, with a strong track record of bringing products from concept to launch.
- At least 8 years of combined Product engineering experience. Ideally you have worked in an engineering role before moving into a product management role.
- Experience in a startup environment is a must.
- Experience with AI or machine learning products is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of product management best practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. An advanced degree is a plus.
