POSITION SUMMARY

• Manage cash position and Line of Credit utilization.
• Provide required monthly and quarterly reports to the bank.
• Support administrative activities as required.
• Coordinate Audits, Insurance, Tax submissions with outside Accountants.
• Support the preparation of annual Budget and variance analysis.
• Serve as a back-up for Palatine and Mexico operations.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

Accounting

• Coordinate the preparation of weekly/monthly actual and estimate updates.
• Update closing monthly calendar.
• Track Sub Debt interest and principal payments, as well as Stock Options and LTIP payments.
• Manage Capital Leases and maintain all necessary documentation related to additions and update principal/interest amortization tables.
• Coordinate Lease recording in accordance with Audit requirements in provided software.
• Serve as a back-up on monthly closing process.

Administrative

• Manage Corporate Travel Expenses and Concur expenses.
• Submit 1099 required information.

Support the renewal of insurance policies and audits.

Cash Management

• Coordinate weekly finance meeting to track weekly results and cash position.
• Support Plant Controllers on any efforts on collections and payments.
• Ensure bank information access follows adequate procedures of internal control.
• Prepare summarized cash flow projections for weekly requirements, and monthly long-term projections.
• Coordinate utilization of Line of Credit including calculation of Borrowing Base and Fixed Charge Coverage Ratio and any other compliance and bank audit requirements
• Support implementation of new technologies to improve cash management.
• Ensure A/R, A/P and Vouchered Payables remain up to date and old balances are closed promptly.
• Coordinate Purchase Order proper update when necessary and timely closing.
• Ensure consignment and outstanding payables are managed correctly and considered on any future payment schedules.
• Serve as a back-up on A/R and A/P process.

Tax and Audits

• Follow up closely on the external audit plan and requirements and ensure they are completely according to schedule. Coordinate among team to ensure completion of all pending items.
• Collaborate with Tax Accountants in order to provide all tax requirements timely and file federal and state returns on time.

Others

• Support renewal of insurance policies with any necessary information
• Provide any necessary information to complete KPI dashboards such as industry benchmark.
• Support the preparation of annual budgets and support explanation of monthly variance analysis.
• Served as a back up to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable/Payroll positions.
• Take any identified training for personal growth and recommend training for accounting personnel.
• Travel to Mexico on a Quarterly basis to support team and get training.
• Other duties as required by CFO and Leadership Team
