Full time - The clinical pharmacist assesses medication appropriateness and effectiveness for hospitalized patients, and collaborates with healthcare practitioners regarding interventions necessary to optimize patient care. The candidate must possess knowledge regarding standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of clinical pharmacy, and have the ability to effectively communicate their thoughts and recommendations. The clinical pharmacist will be required to operate in both a centralized and decentralized fashion. The candidate must have an active AK pharmacist license in good standing or have the ability to reciprocate licensure. A Pharm D is required with residency training and/or BCPS preferred, and at least one year of post graduate hospital experience required.
