Family Center Farm & Home is Hiring a Receiving associate Near Ozark, MO

The Receiving Associate is responsible for accurately receiving and inspecting shipments, verifying quantities and product information, and processing items to inventory. The role will support business operations by ensuring shipments are received and processed efficiently and accurately.
Essential Duties And Other Responsibilities
  • Receive, count, and inspect all incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Utilize a hand-held scanner, inventory management software, or other contemporary merchandising processing equipment to update product quantities.
  • Document discrepancies and check for product defects.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area, ensuring that all supplies and equipment are safely stored and maintained.
  • Operate a hand truck, forklift, or pallet jack to move pallets of merchandise across receiving, staging, and storage areas.
  • Confirm item quantities and record accurate data for each item received on the purchase order or approved worksheet.
  • Assist with inventory counts and audits as requested.
  • Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, and their applications.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management software and systems.
  • Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

Salary: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
