Family: My husband and I have been married for 9 years, and we have two children (Daughter - 3.5 years old, Son - 6 months old). We have a 12 year old golden retriever, who is extremely friendly and gentle.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:45 PM

Location: Opelika, near the Auburn Mall

Expectations:

• Take care of both kids' basic needs (feeding meals and snacks, changing diapers, putting kids down for naps, etc).
• Playing with both kids when they are awake in ways that are developmentally appropriate (3.5 year old - play games, read books, play outside. 6 Month old - read books, play on the floor, work on rolling over, crawling, etc.)
• Light housework (Daily vacuuming, laundry, and cleaning up after kids activities from that day)
• Pick up our daughter from preschool at 12:00 PM each day
• Dependable, with reliable transportation

Start Date: Mid August (but would like for this person to be able to train some in the summer)

Pay: $18-$22 / hour (depending on experience)

Additional Benefits: 1 week paid vacation, extremely flexible if time off is needed, and we keep our nanny's favorite snacks and drinks stocked at our home.

Length of service: We are looking for someone who can be with our family for at least one full year, but ideally this person would be with our family until our son goes to kindergarten.
