About the role:

The Client Services team manages Wiley Edge’s long-term relationships with its customers. Members of the team develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors in order to effectively manage and develop assigned client portfolio.

Client Services Lead is an essential part of the Client Services team and is responsible for all the processes within the department. The role reports to Client Services Director and will also require facilitation with other front office teams across the business.

As the organization matures, the Lead role will require management of one or more individuals as part of the pod structure. The Lead will ultimately be responsible for the client management, revenue & relationships held between Edge & each of the clients within the pod.

The expectation is that the Lead will ensure best practices are enacted upon for all Client Services Managers within the pod whilst driving account growth. Day to day responsibilities will vary hugely depending not only on the maturity of the accounts within the pods, but also the current state of engagement with said accounts.

• Outreach & outreach management.

• Pitch deck creation & pitch delivery.

• Management of senior & key stakeholders, tech managers or

  procurement/vendor mgmt. orgs.

• Escalation management.

• Training

• Collaboration with teams internally, mentioned in the

  summary to ensure best in practice service delivery.

• Idea generation & innovation.

Desired Skills: 

• Bachelors or equivalent degree

• Experience of Sales & Account management with blue chip firms.

• Understanding of technology concepts, languages & trends is essential for this role.

• Time management & organizational/procedural skills is crucial for this position 

• Ambition, an entrepreneurial mindset & self-motivated attitude is imperative for this position

• Excellent written & verbal English skills are required for this position to communicate effectively with our clients

• The ability to spend 1-2 weeks a quarter travelling to meet clients is required
