Matney & Associates, LLC is Hiring a Paralegal Near Omaha, NE

Seeking experienced Paralegal candidates for my client that has a small, general practice firm in West Omaha.

This key position supports two attorneys that are handling interesting and complex cases.

The friendly staff at this firm have created a supportive team environment in this office.

Responsibilities and Duties include and are not limited to:

  • Telephone contact with prospective clients, answer initial questions and provide information to prospective clients.
  • Perform legal research
  • Help manage discovery projects.
  • Prepare legal documents from existing forms.
  • Update client files.
  • Telephone contact with clients, prospective clients and court personnel.
  • Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience with supporting two or more attorneys focused on handling complex cases.
  • Skilled with drafting pleadings.
  • Outstanding grammar, spelling and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent typing skills, at least 55 wpm.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word
  • Knowledge of Adobe Pro and Microsoft Excel is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Westlaw.
  • Experienced with legal research, court rulings and timelines.
