Salary $190,000 - $200,000 per year
A Bit About UsOur company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Director of Engineering to lead our technology team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in engineering, who is passionate about leveraging technology to create innovative solutions. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales growth.

Key responsibilities include
- Leading the engineering team in the development and implementation of our technology strategy.
- Driving the execution of all product lifecycle processes, including product research, market analysis, and product development.
- Collaborating with the product management team to develop innovative solutions that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Overseeing the management of all technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Providing technical leadership and support to the team, including mentoring and coaching engineers.
- Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior engineering role, with a proven track record of leading a team to success.
- Strong knowledge of modern technologies and platforms, including Kubernetes, Node, React, and TypeScript.
- Extensive experience in solutions engineering and product development.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and creatively.
- Solid understanding of financial management and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement efforts, manage change, and instill a culture of high performance and continuous innovation.
