Christian Crossings Academy is Hiring a Middle School Math Teacher (2024-2025) Near Odessa, FL

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our team. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and effective learning environment for students. Your role will involve teaching various mathematical concepts, developing lesson plans, and assessing student progress.

Duties:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
- Teach students various mathematical concepts, including algebra, geometry, and calculus
- Use a variety of instructional techniques and learning technologies to enhance student engagement and understanding
- Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and projects
- Provide individualized support to students who may be struggling with mathematical concepts
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and collaboration
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in mathematics education and incorporate new teaching methods as appropriate

Requirements:
- Be a Christian and agree to our statement of faith
- Teaching certification or licensure in Mathematics
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary or post-secondary level
- Strong knowledge of various mathematical concepts, including algebra, geometry, and calculus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively plan and organize lessons
- Proficiency in learning technology tools for instructional purposes

- Ability to calculate and dissect complex mathematical problems
