North county private dental clinic is seeking for a front desk receptionist who is a motivated, friendly individual who brings smiles to others while answering the phone, scheduling dental appointments, and constantly delivering a memorable experience to our patients. We are looking for a reliable team member who exhibits a strong willingness to learn and grow within our practice. This individual should be organized, punctual, responsible, and able to assist patients to their room, ensuring their comfort and care from the moment they step into the clinic.
Job Responsibilities:
· Serve as the first point of contact for patients entering the clinic, offering a warm welcome and assistance.
· Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information while ensuring confidentiality.
· Handle patient check-in and check-out procedures smoothly and efficiently.
· Manage office communications by answering phone calls, responding to emails, and coordinating with other staff.
· Facilitate patient flow by notifying the staff of patients’ arrivals.
· Process payments and explain dental financing options to patients.
· Coordinate with dental insurance companies to confirm coverage and process claims.
· Handle appointment reminders and follow-ups with patients.
· Order front office supplies and maintain inventory.
Job Requirements:
· Minimum education - High school or equivalent
· Minimum of 1 year of Dental or Medical receptionist experience
· Friendly, approachable with a focus on patient satisfaction.
· Ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patients and staff.
· Knowledge of ADA code and back-office procedures is preferred.
· Capable of multitasking and maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.
