Harmony United Psychiatric Care is Hiring a Physician Assistant-Certified Near Ocala, FL
- Outpatient Clinic Four-Day Weeks: 4 x 10-hour days (Monday through Thursday) Full-Time
- Potential Annual Compensation: Compensation Plan structured to reach or exceed $160,000 (Full-time Employment)
- Location: Ocala
Our team of mental health professionals includes psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners, certified physician assistants, and licensed therapists. We care for adults, adolescents, and children, ages 5 and above.
Our approach is to develop trust and confidence with our clients and treat each patient/client with compassion and respect. We strive to provide the best treatment possible through individualized care for patient/client’s specific needs.
Qualifications
- A certified Physician Assistant is required
- At least 4 years of direct patient care experience is required as a certified Physician Assistant in the field of Psychiatry
- Must have an active Florida license.
- Assess your patient/client’s overall psychological and emotional well-being, prescribe medication; counsel patients, using a variety of methods to evaluate a patient, such as interviewing the patient, their family, or other persons. Monitor the effects of any medication and adjust treatment where necessary
- Develop a treatment plan according to the needs of the patient and the extent of the emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, or behavioral disorder.
- On-call for Emergency and Urgent situations -by phone every 5-6 months (as current staffing allows).
- Includes seeing scheduled Clients through both in-person and Telehealth visits
- Keep up to date with professional job knowledge by reading publications, attending educational conferences, or maintaining professional networks.
- Attend administrative meetings when required
- Excellent Base Compensation
- Option of making an additional $25,000 - $30,000 per year
