About Our Client:

Our Client is a non-profit program dedicated to helping individuals with autism thrive and reach their full potential, providing community-based services for adults with autism, including residential services, day programming, and job support.

Job Description:

As the Board Certified Behavior Analyst - BCBA you will be responsible for delivering and overseeing clinical programming for our adult-day program and community-based residences (12 Individual Caseload). Your role will involve behavior assessment, developing skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs, and providing training and supervision of behavior intervention programs. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care and support for individuals with autism.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a behavior analysis expert to the Interdisciplinary Team.
  • Deliver clinical and case management services.
  • Design and conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA), including Functional Analyses.
  • Conduct preference and reinforcement assessments.
  • Develop behavior interventions to increase adaptive behavior and decrease severe challenging behavior.
  • Design behavior data systems, analyze data, and graph results.
  • Train Direct Support Staff (DSP) to implement behavior support plans and other clinical initiatives.
  • Monitor the implementation of behavior support plans for integrity.
  • Utilize Behavior Skills Training as needed for behavior interventions.
  • Write reports and summaries of client progress.
  • Attend client progress meetings.
  • Maintain communication with stakeholders (e.g., parents, support coordinators, OUR CLIENT personnel, etc.).
  • Identify program areas in need of improvement, develop and deliver clinical training, and provide continuing education on behavior analytic services.
  • Lead clinical discussions/reviews in resident roundtable meetings, ISP meetings, and IDT meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: Must be certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst - BCBA and in good standing according to the BACB.
  • Education: Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, psychology, special education (or related field).
