Busy immigration law firm in downtown Oakland seeks a Bilingual (English/Spanish) individual for an Office Administrative Assistant/Receptionist position. This person will be the primary point of contact for clients coming into our Oakland office. In addition, this person will support our paralegal staff with administrative tasks, mail processing, and filing.
We are looking for a real people-person who can greet our clients with a friendly and welcoming attitude, while also providing administrative support to attorneys and paralegals. This position will provide an opportunity to work with clients filing a range of immigration applications, including family-based applications, asylum, applications for victims of crime and domestic violence, and deferred action. Demonstrated interest and/or experience in immigration desired. The position is a part-time hourly position (Monday - Thursday at our office location, and one hour on Friday morning remotely, for our weekly all-staff meeting).
