Grade 21
Education: Associates degree preferred and/or a safety and health related certification(s) such as CHST.
Experience: 4 years of relevant experience in health and safety
Job Title: Safety Spec I
Grade 22
Education: Bachelor of Science in Safety, Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering or other related degree required, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience: Entry-level position, some relevant internship experience preferred
Job Title: Safety Spec II
Grade 23
Education: Bachelor of Science in Safety, Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering or other related degree required, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience: 2 years of experience required. Relevant professional certification(s) preferred (i.e. ASP, GSP, OHST and/or CHST).
Job Title: Safety Spec III
Grade 24
Education: Bachelor of Science in Safety, Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering or other related degree required, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience: 4 years of experience. Relevant professional certification(s) preferred (i.e. ASP, GSP, CIH, CSP, CHP, OHST, and/or CHST), or must have the ability to obtain professional certification.
Job Title: Safety Spec IV
Grade 25
Education: Bachelor of Science in Safety, Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering or other related degree required, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience: 7 years of experience. Relevant professional certification(s) preferred (i.e. ASP, GSP, CIH, CSP, CHP, OHST, and/or CHST), or must have the ability to obtain professional certification.
Job Title: Sr. Safety Spec I
Grade 26
Education: Bachelor of Science in Safety, Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering or other related degree required, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience: 10 years of experience. Relevant professional certification(s) required (i.e. ASP, GSP, CIH, CSP, CHP, OHST, CHST, and/or SMS).
