Allcomm is Hiring a Low Voltage Installer Near Novi, MI

We are currently seeking a Low Voltage Technician!

Responsibilities:

  • Install, troubleshoot, test and repair of low voltage systems (i.e LAN; PA, CCTV, VoIP, Intercom, A/V, Door Access)
  • Install necessary interior and exterior wiring for equipment
  • Maintain records on work performed.
  • Preform physical requirements unaided or with reasonable accommodations.
  • Maintain regular and prompt attendance in the work place
  • Maintenance, troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years experience installing category 5E, 6, 6A, and fiber optic cable in commercial buildings
  • Follow oral and written directions. Communicate effectively in writing and speech.
  • Knowledge and ability to use computers and programs including, word processing, spreadsheets
  • Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and manuals
  • Familiarity with power and hand tools
  • Self Starter with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Working knowledge of building codes and standards as they relate to the job
  • Knowledge of safety procedures, guidelines and rules.
  • BICSI certifications are a plus
