About The RoleThe Company is seeking a Vice President of Information Technology (VP IT) to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be an innovative and collaborative leader, responsible for all aspects of the information systems strategy, execution, and services. This role involves selecting, architecting, and implementing technologies to differentiate the company from the competition, leading continuous technology innovation efforts, and ensuring top-line growth while maintaining cost-effective operations. The VP IT will play a crucial role as a trusted advisor to the business, working closely with C-level executives and business unit leaders to align IT and business strategies, and will be tasked with overseeing the modernization and design of crucial ERP processes. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities for IT organizational structure, budgeting, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning. Qualified candidates for the VP IT position at the company should have at least 10 years of IT leadership experience, including a background in manufacturing. An innovative mindset, extensive experience in project management, resource allocation, and negotiation, as well as hands-on experience in IT applications and infrastructure, are essential. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in large ERP implementations and experience in advanced technologies such as AI/ML/ and GenAI is a plus. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline is required, with a Master's degree preferred. The VP IT will be expected to engage with key stakeholders, lead teams, manage budgets, and create strategic plans that drive innovation, while also ensuring compliance and operational excellence through effective IT policies and procedures.
