American Excelsior Company is actively seeking General Labor to join our 2nd shift team. Our Norwalk branch is expanding and looking to grow its team of valued production associates to run a brand new machine in our Erosion Control department. Hours:

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-3:00am

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists in packaging of blanket roll bundles according to work orders
• Assists machine operator to package and palletize blanket roll bundles of different sizes
• Labels blanket roll bundles with tags
• Bands bundles using the air banding gun
• Clean, sweeps and organizes work area using the broom

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION

• A minimum of a High School degree with a preference for 1 years manufacturing experience operating basic hand tools and equipment preferred.
• A Servant Leadership style collaborating with peers.
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for up to 10 hour shift.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Dusty and moderately noisy; regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.

Newly hired individuals must have a Pre-Employment Physical, Drug & Alcohol Test, and Audiogram.
