Polaris Recruiting Services is Hiring a Community Association Manager Near North Miami, FL

As a Community Association Manager for a self-managed property your primary responsibility is to oversee the daily operations and management of a high-rise residential community. You'll be entrusted with ensuring the smooth functioning of the property, maintaining strong relationships with residents, board members, and vendors, and implementing policies and procedures to uphold the community's standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the high-rise residential property. Ensure maintenance, repairs, and cleanliness standards are met to uphold the property's appearance and functionality. Coordinate with maintenance staff and vendors for timely resolution of issues.
  • Develop and manage the community association budget. Collect assessments and fees from residents and ensure timely payments. Monitor expenses and financial records, providing regular reports to the board.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for residents regarding inquiries, complaints, and requests. Foster a positive community atmosphere by organizing events, communication initiatives, and addressing concerns promptly. Enforce community rules and regulations in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Collaborate with the board of directors to implement policies, procedures, and strategic plans for the community. Prepare materials and attend board meetings, providing updates on property management, financials, and resident issues. Assist the board in developing and enforcing community guidelines and bylaws.
  • Procure and manage contracts with vendors for services such as landscaping, security, cleaning, and maintenance. Ensure vendors deliver services according to contract terms and quality standards. Obtain competitive bids for projects and negotiate contracts to optimize cost-efficiency.
  • Stay informed about local, state, and federal regulations affecting community associations. Ensure compliance with governing documents, fair housing laws, and other relevant statutes. Work with legal counsel as needed to address legal issues or disputes.

Qualifications:

  • Active CAM License
  • 3 years experience in High Rise residential
  • Bilingual, English and Spanish
  • Previous experience in property management, preferably in a high-rise residential setting.
  • Strong knowledge of property management principles, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with residents, board members, and vendors.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and handle challenging situations with professionalism.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office suite.
