VEHICLE SERVICE AGENT

PAY RATE: $15.00/hr.

Upon completion of 6 months, hourly rate increases to $15.75/hr. and

Upon completion of 1-year, hourly rate increases to $16.50/hr.

Join our Hertz Car Rental team! The Vehicle Service Agent is responsible for servicing and inspecting rental vehicles for customer use, transporting vehicles from servicing area to customer pick-up, maintaining gas logs on vehicles and maintaining cleanliness of work area. Saturday morning availability required. Store Hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Open availability required. Job duties include but not limited to:

• Clean and service rental vehicles for customer use
• Review inspection checklist to ensure vehicles are properly prepared
• Transport customers to and from the rental center as required
• Deliver vehicles to appropriate locations as directed
• Maintain service area, equipment, tools and cleaning supplies
• Maintain gas logs and other logs as requested by management
• Inspect and park cars as directed
• Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Valid driver’s license & satisfactory motor vehicle report
• At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the US
• Able to work all required shifts
• Capable of following directions while often working independently
• Willing to work outside in nearly all weather conditions
• Strong time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
• General knowledge of how to operate variety of automobiles

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
