Requrirements:

  • Strong leadership capabilities with a history of leading a team to success.
  • Two years of leadership in a retail sales environment.
  • Proven expertise in sales, merchandising, and customer service.
  • Ability to strategize, set, and achieve performance goals.
  • Excellent communication skills for training and mentoring staff and communicating with customers.
  • Adeptness with office computer applications and inventory management systems.
  • Knowledgable and passionate about wild birds and Minnesota's natural environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality customer service in a responsive and friendly manner.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and schedule personnel to meet the staffing requirements of the store operations.
  • Provide work direction and supervision for all store personnel.
  • Conduct annual performance appraisals for all store personnel.
  • Perform opening and closing operations.
  • Perform all point-of-sale, inventory management and sales management functions.
  • Operate all computer, telephone, fax, audio, and video equipment.
  • Organize and manage stock room.
  • Order, receive, price and stock merchandise.
  • Creatively display merchandise.
  • Purchase supplies and fixtures to support store operations.
  • Keep the store clean, neat, orderly and secure.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform physical inventory counts as required.
  • Acquire and stay current on product knowledge.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Co-Owner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,500.00 - $54,500.00 per year
