DescriptionFINANCIAL ANALYST - Well-Known Manufacturer in Norcross, GAWe're looking for a Financial Analyst with effective communication skills. Consider this position if you enjoy working as part of a team. Robert Half is working with a thriving company to find a skilled Financial Analyst. This Financial Analyst position will require the candidate to execute financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Additional daily functions will include advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management. This position is a great fit for candidates that seek a business partner role in which they can interact with team members about forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive financial models to forecast business outcomes and profitability.
  • Collaborate closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Create financial models predicting outcomes for different business areas.
  • Aid the Finance Manager in developing a robust financial evaluation model for business performance assessment.
  • Assist in creating detailed annual plans and latest estimates for company entities.
  • Prepare budget and financial packages and conduct related analysis for presentation to the leadership team.
  • Partner with key functional areas to understand the business landscape, facilitating planning, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Present detailed income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, along with insights and recommendations.
  • Analyze trends in key performance indicators, offering explanations and recommendations for planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial planning and analysis, with a preference for costing experience.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling to propose well-informed solutions.
  • Strong business analysis skills, capable of working independently on complex projects and structuring analysis around ambiguous questions.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Great Plains or other ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and optimization in a dynamic industry.
  • Proven ability to develop, communicate, and implement financial strategies, encouraging root cause analysis and creative problem-solving.
