Midwest Sport and Spine Center is Hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant Near Noblesville, IN

We are looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant to fill immediate opening with our growing, busy sports clinic. Midwest Sport and Spine Center is a locally owned practice takes care of our patients and truly want to see our patients quality of life improve. Working in this multidisciplinary clinic you will have the opportunity to work with and grow from Sports Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, Athletic Trainers and Massage Therapists. As a clinic we all work together to give our patients the best results. You will also have the opportunity to work with some of the most elite athletes in that state as we are partners with multiple sports organizations. Along with athletes, we see a wide variety of patients from 0 - 100 years old and all activity levels.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Promotes and maintains health by providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist
  • Contributes to the office effectiveness by identifying patient care issues
  • Administers treatment programs for patients
  • Asses patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations and obtaining, updating and studying therapy histories
  • Evaluates abnormal conditions by reviewing physical therapist interpretations of patient evaluations and test results
  • Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records
  • Performs therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises and instruction, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities
  • Helps patient in using supportive devices, such as crutches, canes and prosthesis
  • Instructs and counsels patient by describing therapeutic regimens, giving normal growth and development information, and promoting wellness and health maintenance
  • Maintains safe and clean working environments by complying with procedures, rules and regulations and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
  • Maintains production objectives by noting current treatment trends and monitoring actual physical therapy services rendered to production objectives
  • Maintains legal and accreditation compliance by adhering to policy positions concerning federal, state and local regulations

Hours / Benefits:

  • Office is open 7:30 - 7:30 M / W / Th, 2:30 - 7:30 Tuesday, 7:30 - 1 Friday. This position will be full time.
  • We offer IRA match, PTO, Paid Holidays, Continuing Education Credits. Salary is negotiable based on experience

Requirements:

  • Degree from accredited program
  • Current License or Eligibility for PTA license in Indiana

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
