Key Qualifications:
- Expanded Functions Dental Assistant certification
- Experience is preferred, but willing to train for the right fit
- Strong communication skills
- A team player who is loyal and dedicated to patient care
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Performing EFDA duties, including placing restorations
- Taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Managing infection control – sterilizing instruments and equipment
- Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Educating patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
- Performing various office tasks as necessary
