Salary $90,000 - $125,000 per year
A Bit About UsWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our leading Non-Profit healthcare company. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage all aspects of our accounting department. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a system of internal controls that will ensure company assets are adequately safeguarded and that all financial reporting is prepared in compliance with all financial policies, GAAP and non-profit regulations.

- Lead and manage the accounting department, ensuring excellence in the delivery of all financial services and reporting.
- Ensure the timely and accurate production of financial reports in accordance with GAAP and non-profit regulations.
- Manage the preparation of the annual budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.
- Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Collaborate with the management team to support overall department goals and objectives.
- Engage in continuous education and staff development.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as an Accounting Manager in a manufacturing or similar industry.
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations, particularly GAAP and non-profit regulations.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software.
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks.
- Superior attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
