Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Kitchen Team Member to join our team. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This is a paid position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with meal preparation, including cutting, chopping, measuring ingredients and cooking
- Follow recipes and menu plans to ensure consistent quality and presentation of dishes
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, and fryers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist with catering events as needed
- Assist at the front of house, including cash register as needed
Skills:
- Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen role preferred
- Knowledge of menu planning and meal preparation techniques
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils, including knives
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
