Summary:
Position: Medical Back Office Assistant
Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour DOE
Facility: Dermatology Group
Location: Newport Beach, CA
Bilingual, Spanish a must!
Responsibilities:
- Strong back office office experience
- Medical scribing experience needed
- Participate with MOHS procedures
- Document chief complaint/medical history/update medication list
- Request/Gather all necessary data for each patient medical record (i.e. hospital/referring physician office/radiology and or lab records)
- Maintain a clean/organized work area including front office/triage area/examination/treatment rooms Prepare treatment room
- Assist the physician with MOHS procedures physician orders/monitor prescriptions/request authorizations
