Senior QA Engineer 

As a Senior QA, you will be involved in every step of the software development process including design, development, testing, and security validation. You will participate in managing and coordinating test automation tool development, test plan development, test scheduling, and frequent reporting of the quality status.

A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Design, develop, and execute test plans including security testing. 
• Propose and compare design and technology options with technical leads. 
• Lead proof-of-concept and prototyping efforts. 
• Provide weekly report on all testing activities. 
• Manage the final quality on production release. 
• Look to leverage our SAP internal platform and tools. 
• Investigate technology options in-line with SAP’s overall technology direction. 

WORK EXPERIENCE 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 
• 5 years of Quality Assurance experience 
• Experience managing the design, development, test, release, and support of cloud native products. 
• Strong experience developing in an agile team using GitHub and tools such as JIRA. 
• Familiar with Xray test management. 
• Demonstrated experience in Gatling load testing. 
• Experience in testing techniques in cloud environment using micro-services architecture. 
• Understanding of deployment and CI/CD. 
• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English. 
• Strong sense for quality assurance and experience designing and implementing functional tests as part of the development process. 
• Experience in testing or security of cloud products. 

S/4 HANA Consumer Industries Cloud is a new business unit at SAP S/4HANA with a focus on Industry Cloud, an emerging market segment where SAP guides its customers towards evolving their industry-centric business models with new processes, tools, and business services. SAP CIC complements SAP existing Business Suite as well as helps the entire company keep pace with new market trends in Industry Cloud.

SAP S/4 HANA CIC holistically targets the strategic industries Consumer Products, Retail, Wholesale, and Life Sciences. As a dedicated unit, it takes a start-up approach to developing new cloud products and brings together the product strategy and Product Management for these four industries with all the necessary cloud business functions, such as architecture, engineering, and operations along with development of cloud-native applications.
