The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to the following :

• Accurately perform hardness and other tests and record results as required.
• Performs calibration of all testing equipment accurately and on schedule.
• Performs audits, weekly probes, surveys, etc. as needed or defined by procedure and / or schedule.
• May be required to complete conformance certificates and / or other related paperwork.
• Meet all specification requirements per BMS.
• Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
• Perform other tasks as designated by position.
• This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
• Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications :

• This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card holders.
• Education High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one to three years in heat treating industry or related field.
• Must have working knowledge of all testing equipment and terminology.
• Basic knowledge of commercial and aerospace materials and heat-treating equipment is desired.
• Must have some experience reading / interpreting blueprints / specifications, be detail oriented and possess manual dexterity.
• May be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases are required.
• Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
