Collabera offers a full range of benefits to its employees including paid vacations, holidays, personal days, Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, 401K retirement savings plan, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance.Job DescriptionPosition: Purchasing Analyst - 12 Location: Newberry SC 29108Duration: 6 months with possibility of extensionSummary: · Purchase machinery, equipment, tools, parts, supplies or services necessary for the operation of an establishment.· Responsible for buying goods and services for use by their company or organization. · Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability and other relevant factors. · Purchase the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts. · Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services. · Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods.Typical Day · Candidate will work with SAP System issuing Purchase orders and working with suppliers to entire transitions into system. · Getting quotes from suppliers to give to buyer. QualificationsTechnical Skills Required: · Previous purchasing · Experienced in MS Excel doing pivot tables and formulas.
