Role Overview:

Are you excited about leading a brand-new marketing team and shaping its direction right from the start? As the first Head of Marketing at Siena AI, you'll build the marketing department with the support of our Chief Marketing Officer, Lisa, and work closely with the people who started our company.

What You'll Do at Siena:

  • Create and lead a marketing strategies that helps our brand grow and reach more people, working closely with our founders.

  • Hire and guide a marketing team, picking the right people to bring your ideas to life.

  • Make sure our marketing efforts reflect our company's goals, turning big ideas into actions that reach our audience.

  • Build a repeatable customer acquisition and lead generation strategy.

  • Help position Siena as the market leader in autonomous AI agent space.

  • Establish and lead all marketing related functions, including content marketing, community, social media, product marketing, demand gen, lead gen.

Who You Are:

  • You have 8 years of experience in marketing, with some of that time leading a team in a tech or AI company.

  • You've successfully built and grown marketing teams before, showing you can think big and act on it.

  • You're good at working closely with top managers or company founders, turning big-picture ideas into practical marketing plans.

  • You make decisions based on facts and data, and you're good at understanding what the numbers are telling us.

  • You're a great communicator and team player, able to motivate your team and work well with others across the company.

  • You're flexible and tough, ready to adapt to new challenges and keep moving forward in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in the ecommerce or CX space, understanding the unique challenges, opportunities, and the ecosystems Siena operates in.

  • Examples of creative marketing work that made a real impact.

You Shouldn't Apply If:

  • You find fast changes and uncertainty uncomfortable – we often need to think on our feet and adapt quickly.

  • Working closely with the company's founders and being involved in key decisions sounds overwhelming to you.

  • You only want to focus on big ideas and prefer not to get involved in the day-to-day work – this role is hands-on.

  • The idea of leading a new team through rapid growth and the ups and downs that come with it doesn't excite you.
