We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Permanent Estimator to join our fast-paced, innovative construction company.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to work on a variety of local projects, ranging from healthcare and higher education facilities to K-12 schools, municipal buildings, and corporate offices.

Responsibilities :
As a Permanent Estimator, you will be responsible for :
1. Preparing detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications, and performing quantity take-offs for healthcare, higher education, K-12, municipal, and corporate construction projects.
2. Evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure they meet the project's scope and specifications.
3. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and architects during the cost estimating process.
4. Presenting prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information in a concise manner.
5. Participating in proposal presentations and negotiations.
6. Keeping current with the latest estimating technology and techniques.
7. Reviewing design options and recommending best solutions based on cost, quality, and availability of materials.
8. Assessing cost effectiveness of products or services and tracking actual costs as the project develops.
Qualifications :
To be considered for the Permanent Estimator position, the candidate must possess the following :
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on healthcare, higher education, K-12, municipal, and corporate projects.
2. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
3. Proficiency in estimating software and other construction industry-specific software.
4. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements.
5. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
6. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
7. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
8. A strong team player with a commitment to excellence and integrity.
