Summary: The Resident Services Director (RSD) is responsible for and accountable for the organization, planning and development of all functions and care provided by the nursing department. the RSD accepts responsibility and accountability for management of the facility in the Executive Director's absence. The RSD is responsible for managing the health care of all residents including dissemination of information to families and staff. Must hold a valid Florida Nursing License. Licensed LPN/RN

• Communications are clear, accurate and timely. Shows discretion in the distribution of information.
• Works as a team player with other employees and management in accomplishing work.
• Trains department staff on proper safety procedures, including in-services and situation specific training as it pertain to his/her position
• Provides "hands on care" on an as needed basis to meet the needs of the residents.
• Willingly takes calls from staff during night and weekends.
• Makes self available to come into work during off shift hours when needed/required due to staff shortages/call offs.
