Town of Nantucket is Hiring a Business Finance Manager Near Nantucket, MA

The Business/Finance Manger is a self-starter who can delegate responsibility for administrative tasks while ensuring controls for thoroughness and accuracy of that work. They will direct the Airport Manager and the Airport Commissions (with input from the Town’s Finance Department) on strategic timing of Capital investments to manage debt and other expenditure cash flows. Tracking and administering the Airport’s fuel sales and associated revolving account, operating budget, capital budget, and ensuring timely tenant collections are important representative tasks. The successful candidate will work as part of a leadership team that values collaborative problem solving, honest and direct communication, and inclusiveness.
Previous Airport experience, while beneficial, is not required, and can be taught. Candidates without Airport experience will be expected to obtain AAAE ACE and/or C.M. designations within the first 18 months of hire.
This is a 40 hours per week non-union and exempt position with full Town of Nantucket benefits.
Starting Wage $90,000 - $110,000. with $110,000 to $130,000 possible for exceptional candidates with relevant airport experience and certifications.
