As a Day Program Behavior Analyst, you are responsible ensuring that the staff and clients are supported in working to minimize all clients’ challenging behaviors and maximize the client’s ability to communicate effectively. The following job description outlines essential job functions, but may not provide a comprehensive list of duties that may be assigned: 

• Work collaboratively with a BCBA in order to implement basic principles of ABA therapy
• Train staff in the implementation of Behavior Supports Plans and recommended strategies
• Plan/develop/modify appropriate behavior programs, tracking forms, and other materials
• Write quarterly reports, and present reports during quarterly treatment team meetings
• Review and analyze reported skill and behavior data
• Train staff in the implementation of Behavior Supports Plans and recommended strategies
• Demonstrate an understanding of behavior analysis strategies in all interactions with clients, staff and families
• Demonstrate empathy and compassion in conduct towards clients
• Demonstrate respect, cooperation, consideration, and tact in dealing with coworkers, peers, families and others
• Cooperate with the applicable State Department or Division licensing unit with all reasonable and legally mandated inspections or investigations
