Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Director of Catering. The Director of Catering will be responsible for catering sales, food & beverage management, and customer service. Our ideal applicant has a culinary arts degree and several years of experience in hospitality or a fine dining restaurant.
Duties:
· Schedule events with clients
· Develop a budget for each event
· Schedule staff for the event
· Plan a menu and order the necessary ingredients
· Interview and hire new employees
· Oversee the banquet during the event
Qualifications:
· Culinary arts degree
· Hospitality, guest service, and restaurant management experience
· Experience working in a fast-paced environment
· Professional catering experience
· Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Must have previous Catering experience to be considered.
This position requires availability on nights, weekends, holidays.
