PolyCon Solutions is seeking a Communications Specialist / Speechwriter to support our subcontractor and valued customer at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

We are seeking candidates with excellent communications skills, strong interpersonal skills (both oral & written) to thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere, in which you will draft speeches, talking points, perform research, respond to media inquiries, track mentions in the mass-media, advise the management team in acting in cases of communication crisis and foster in departmental brand awarenes

Duties Include :

• Preserve and protect all confidences and privileged communications.
• Proactively research and prepare speeches, talking points, and briefing

packages for FAA executives.

Develop and prepare presentations, brochures, hand-outs, and other

informative materials in various mediums.

• Conduct briefings and develop quick-turn briefing materials on project information for FAA senior executives.
• Apply knowledge of best practices to ensure efficient use of communications distribution channels.
• Recognize and identify what internal information can be disseminated and to whom.
• Assist in preparing meeting agendas.
• MS Office Suite expertise

Required Qualifications :

• Possesses outstanding verbal and written communication skills while thriving in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
• Strong time-management skills.
• Ability to efficiently plan, provide for contingencies, balance competing demands, adapt to change, and remain focused to deliver results.

Education and Experience :

Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations and six years of relevant experience
