LA QUINTA INNS & SUITES is currently hiring for a general maintenance worker. The primary function of this position is to repair and maintain the physical structure of the hotel. This position answers directly to the General Manager.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES:

• Maintains hotel, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring and other related maintenance activities.

• Replace A/C filters.

• May tend furnace, air-conditioner, and boiler to provide heat, cool air and hot water for guests.

• Responds to guest maintenance requests.

• Ensure all equipment is in good working order.
• Paints and stains walls, trim and doors.

• Maintains a superior quality in the guest rooms.

• Responsible for learning emergency procedures.

• Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.

• Performs other related duties as required.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Use hands, arms and fingers.

• Lift and move materials and products.

• Some heavy lifting may be required.
• May need to work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Current drivers license preferred.
